TANDEM


Method

Tandem jump involves two persons joined together in one parachute.
This particular parachute can fly with two persons safely. The passenger is hooked from his tandem master (instructor) with a special harness. Before jumping 10 minute briefing is needed. Tandem master is responsible for all procedures involved for completion of jump. (Opening of parachute, flying it and landing it)

Safety

Instructors are qualified from U.S.P.A (United States Parachuting Association) for doing Tandem Jumps. Also the equipment used is certified by international standards. Everybody can safely practice Tandem jump as long as they follow instructor’s procedures and standard steps.

Prices

Tandem jump: 195 euro.
Tandem with video: 245 euro.
Second Jump (from same person): 175 euro.
Group of 3 persons: 190 euro (be person).
Group of 5 persons: 185 euro (be person).
Group of 10 persons: 180 euro (be person).


Frequent Questions

How long a Tandem jump lasts? (duration)

From the time a person arrives at the drop zone until Jump is completed duration period is 50 minutes (if weather conditions are suitable)

Who can do Tandem Jump?

Anyone can do Tandem jump over the age of 16 years (written permission is needed from a parent)

What should my physical condition be so I perform Tandem Jump?

The passenger before jumping should have not suffered from any of the following conditions, which may lead to a dangerous situation with regard to other persons and his/her self during parachuting: Pregnancy, epilepsy, fits, heart, diabetes, severe and active mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction.
Students involved in parachuting should have a reasonably high standard of physical fitness and should not be overweight (max 100 kg) in relation to their age sex and height. In addition to medical conditions listed above, the following may cause difficulty whilst parachuting if you have ever suffered from any of these you need to seek for medical opinion: Recurrent fainting, giddiness of blackouts, high blood pressure, chronic bronchitis, severe asthma, rheumatic fever, pneumothorax, liver o kidney disease, thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disorder, chronic bone or joint condition, disorder of the blood, severe anemia ,chronic ear or sinus disease , previous major heard injury, any condition which requires the regular use of drugs.
If, because of any of the above quoted conditions, you cannot sign the declaration you must, before parachuting, obtain a medical certificate from a physician.

If I am wearing glasses can I perform Tandem jump?

Yes glasses do not prevent anyone from tandem jumping.

What is the appropriate clothing and shoes for skydiving?

Sport gear is appropriate for skydiving but in winter period is highly recommend wearing warm clothes (i.e. fleece jumper)

Can I bring my friends with me?

Yes all friends can come along and can also try skydiving.
